How it works

A peek at my process

Five steps, and you’re never guessing where things stand. You approve the plan before I build, and see it come together the whole way.

01

Strategy call & research

It starts with a questionnaire — you fill it out, I review it, and we get on a strategy call. Then I do the real digging: your brand, your competitors, your audience, and your corner of Central New York. I don’t design a thing until I understand who you’re actually trying to reach.

02

The plan, mapped out

I outline the whole strategy, with notes on the why and how behind every decision, so nothing’s a mystery. For your website, that comes as a wireframe: the structure, laid out before a single pixel is designed. You approve it, then I start building. (Already have your copy written? I design around it.)

03

Design & write

I build the real thing — designing the site, writing the strategy, or both — and send you sneak peeks along the way. No disappearing for three weeks and hoping you like it at the end. You watch it come together.

04

Final review, live

We hop on a call and go through it together. I edit live, right there on the call, until it’s just right. No “submit a ticket and wait” — we fix it while we’re both looking at it.

05

Publish & convert

We go live. Your site’s out in the world, working — getting found, taking bookings, and doing the job it was built to do.

Questions

Asked on nearly every call

If your site is fast, findable and says the right things, keep it — take the strategy. If people can’t find your hours on a phone in three seconds, start with the site. We’ll settle this in the first ten minutes of a call, for free.

About four hours total: one 60-minute kickoff, two rounds of feedback, and a 45-minute hand-off. I collect photos and details in one simple form so you’re never chasing a checklist.

That’s the point. Every build includes location-specific pages, clean metadata, schema markup, fast load times and Google Business Profile setup. It’s not magic and it’s not instant — most clients see movement within two to three months.

Then take the monthly Content Help package. I work from a short intake call, write in your voice, and send everything for approval before it goes out.

Yes — the work translates anywhere community matters. But if you’re in Syracuse, Utica, Rome or Ithaca, you get in-person meetings and a designer who knows why nobody books anything in February.

Your neighborhood already loves you. Let’s get the internet on board.
